Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Santa Barbara will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in California usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

Santa Barbara is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Santa Barbara is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Dart Coffee Co. delivers the perfect Santa Barbara vibe. Itβs an incredibly popular spot with a buzzing, fun atmosphere. Don't let the long line deter you, it just means it's good! The staff is wonderfully welcoming, and the drinks are completely worth it. βThe cold brew latte was delicious, and the matcha latte was exceptionally smooth, creamy, and flavorful. Make sure to head out back. The garden courtyard with the beautiful white paper lanterns hanging overhead is the perfect place to sit and enjoy your drinks.

Overall: 75/100 A super lively coffee place with open-window breeze, positive energy, and an okay coffee experience. Coffee: 60/100 I had a cappuccino. Considering they have a custom La Marzocco Strada, a top-level machine, I expected more. Iβm not sure whether the barista added too much milk or simply didnβt fully use the machineβs potential, but either way, it was a bit disappointing. The cappuccino wasnβt bad, but the taste was watery and overly milk-diluted. Still better than any Starbucks, but not quite what youβd expect from a Strada. Price: 70/100 A bit on the expensive side, considering the lackluster coffee quality. One cappuccino was $5.75. Service: 100/100 This is where the place really shines. There was a line, yet the girl taking orders was super friendly, fast, efficient, and even making cool jokes. Kudos here! Interior / Atmosphere: 70/100 The interior is warm and inviting, though thereβs nothing especially unique about the design itself. I think the large open windows, the pink coffee machine, and the overall positive crowd chatter are what make this place appealing. It has a relaxing ambience, and life and good energy are definitely there. The bathrooms look co

Very nice staff and cute shop. Cortado was under extracted (acidic). Salsa was great but the empanada was Very puff pastry heavy.

My favorite coffee shop when visiting Santa Barbara. Delicious coffee and very friendly staff. The Corena Churro Cortadois Fire! Their Guatemalan coffee beans are some of the best Iβve ever had always get some to go. Highly recommend.

This coffee shop is on the corner of Yanonali St. and Gray Ave. with very limited parking. Adjacent to Tamar Restaurant, they operate out of the same building and share seating space. During my 1st visit, it seemed unclear if Darts' customers could use the seating space, so I ordered takeout. I had their 'Hot Latte' with an 'Everything Bagel'. Both tasted amazing! The latte was smooth and creamy with a perfect balance of milk and espresso. It's such a great feeling when the right barista handles your drink! The bagel was perfectly toasted, yet so soft inside with the right seasoning. The menu lists one price for each specialty drink, so I was not able to get a larger latte. I was served a 12 oz drink. I almost passed on this experience because I couldn't find parking and the line was out the door. So I got out of my car while my husband drove around and I waited in line. Surprisingly, the line moved quickly. Service was friendly and welcoming. The CafΓ© is cute, with a soft feminine aesthetic. Clean and organized. Overall, I had a good experience here and enjoyed every sip.
